Big game trolling out of South Ari Atoll puts you on the outer reef edge where pelagic predators cruise. Sailfish are the primary target December through April, with Yellowfin Tuna and Wahoo as consistent bonus catches.
We troll a spread of skirted lures and rigged baits at 6-8 knots along the reef drop-off. Our 38ft is fitted with a , outriggers, and heavy trolling rods rated for 50-80lb class. The crew watches the spread while you relax - when a fish hits, they hand you the rod.
No experience needed. Many of our guests land their first billfish with us. The crew coaches you through the fight - when to reel, when to let the drag work, how to bring the fish to the boat. It's an adrenaline rush whether you've fished your whole life or never held a rod.
December through April is peak season. The NE monsoon pushes productive water against the western reef edge, bringing bait - and the predators that follow it - close to the surface. Yellowfin Tuna are present year-round.

Sailfish, yellowfin tuna, wahoo, and mahi mahi are the main targets, with marlin possible. December through April is peak season when calm seas let us work the deep water beyond the atoll edge.
None. The crew sets the spread, hooks are often self-set on the strike, and we coach you through the fight. Complete beginners have landed sailfish with us.
Photos of everything, always. Food fish like tuna, wahoo, and mahi are cleaned and filleted on board for you. For billfish, the crew will let you know whether it's a release or one we can keep - whatever is kept is shared with the local island community so nothing goes to waste.
The 38ft cruiser is built for this - triple engines, shade, toilet and shower, and the range to work the offshore grounds comfortably for a full day.
The crew cleans and fillets everything on board. Take it to your resort kitchen or have sashimi prepared on the ride home.
