Big Game Trolling
The trophy trip. We troll the deep water beyond the atoll edge on the 38ft cruiser for Sailfish, Yellowfin Tuna, Wahoo, and Mahi Mahi. December through April is peak season. If you want the ultimate fishing photo for the villa wall, this is the trip.
GT Popping
The most exciting fishing in the Maldives. We cast heavy poppers on the reef edges where Giant Trevally hunt. 20kg+ fish smashing the surface in crystal clear water. Explosive, visual, and addictive.
Night Fishing
A relaxed evening on the water after a day by the pool. We head out after sunset, anchor over the reef, and drop lines for Red Snapper, Grouper, and Emperor. The crew prepares fresh sashimi from your catch. Great for couples and families alike.
Island Hopping + Fishing

When to Fish from Radisson Blu
December to April (NE monsoon): Peak season for big game. Sailfish, Yellowfin Tuna, Wahoo. Calmer seas, better visibility. The best months if you want a shot at billfish.
May to November (SW monsoon): GT popping is better during this season. Rougher water pushes baitfish onto the reef edges and the GTs feed aggressively. Deep jigging is productive year round.
Night fishing works every month of the year - perfect for any visit.
What to Bring
Sunscreen, sunglasses, a hat, and a light long sleeve shirt. We provide everything else. Rods, reels, lures, poppers, jigs, terminal tackle, drinks, and snacks. Just show up.
