Why Fish with Us from Mirihi Island
Mirihi is one of the smallest and most exclusive islands in the Maldives - 36 villas, no shoes, no news. For guests who want one perfectly-arranged adventure inside a week of stillness, a private fishing charter is precisely that: your own boat, your own crew, and the Indian Ocean's best sport fishing arranged around your schedule.
We collect you directly from the Mirihi jetty - about 20 minutes to the grounds in the atoll's southwest. Premium Shimano and Daiwa tackle, an experienced local captain, drinks and snacks aboard, and complete flexibility on timing and trip length.
What Mirihi Island Guests Usually Book
Big Game Trolling
The signature Mirihi choice: a full day on the 38ft cruiser trolling for sailfish, yellowfin, and wahoo. Peak December-April. The photo above the fireplace comes from this trip.
Sunset Night Fishing
Out at golden hour, anchored under the stars, unhurried fishing with sashimi prepared on board. Arguably the most Mirihi trip we run.
GT Popping
For guests who want intensity: heavy poppers, explosive Giant Trevally, and a workout with a story attached.
Deep Jigging
Dogtooth tuna and ruby snapper from the deep edges - the connoisseur trip for anglers who have done everything else.
